Limpopo Education Department Launches EPWP 2026 Careers – 6 Data Capturers & 53 Casual Labourers
Limpopo Department of Education is looking for suitable young people to apply for their Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP) contract positions. The closing date for applications is Friday, 6 March 2026 at 14h00.
What the EPWP actually looks like every day
- Data Capturers (6 posts) – Work in Polokwane’s head office, typing up reports, checking data for accuracy, and helping the department stay on top of statistics. You’ll get paid R350 a day and learn the basics of admin and data‑management.
- Casual Labourers (53 posts) – Help out around the district offices with cleaning, moving paperwork, setting up rooms and general maintenance. You’ll earn R130 a day and get a chance to network with different district teams.
Both roles run for 12 months, give you a steady cash flow while you build a CV, and could be the first step into a permanent government or private job.
Who can apply?
| Requirement | Detail |

| Age | 18–25 (but anyone eligible for EPWP can join) |
