What Is the CHIETA WIL Internship Programme All About?

The Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) is supporting this exciting 12-month WIL programme. It is only available to students from Elangeni TVET College who have already completed their N6 level in one of the approved engineering fields.

This internship is aimed at helping young people who need work experience to complete their qualification. If you’re still looking for a chance to enter the job market or get real experience in your field, this is for you.

Who Can Apply?

This internship is strictly for N6 students from Elangeni TVET College who meet the following requirements:

  • Must have passed all your modules.
  • Must be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Must not be currently funded by any SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority).
  • Must have studied Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  1. Certified copy of your ID.
  2. Certified copy of your Matric certificate.
  3. Certified copies of your N4, N5, and N6 certificates.
  4. Certified academic record from Elangeni TVET College.
  5. An affidavit that proves:
    • You are unemployed.
    • You are not currently funded by any other SETA.

All documents must be attached and submitted together to be considered.
