CIPC Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Graduate Internship Program vacancies.
The closing date for applications is 31 October 2025.

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is putting out three new internship spots that will run from 2025 through 2027. These positions are aimed at young South Africans who have finished a university degree or a college diploma but haven’t yet worked in their chosen field. If you’re ready to learn on the job, earn a steady stipend of R12,000 each month, and boost your résumé, read on to see if you qualify.


Who Can Apply?

You must meet these simple rules to be considered for a CIPC internship:

  • Be a South African citizen and currently unemployed.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Hold a national degree or diploma from a recognized university or college.
  • Have never been paid full‑time for work in your field of study.
  • Have never taken part in another internship program before.

Internship Opportunities

CIPC is offering three different tracks, each with its own job duties and required skills:

1. Supply Chain Management Internship

Who Should Apply?
Someone with a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or Public Management.
What You’ll Do:

  • Help create purchase orders and manage request‑for‑quotation workflows.
  • Keep supplier data up to date and check that everyone follows the rules.
  • Track inventory, verify assets, and keep accurate records.
  • Produce simple reports on how the supply chain is performing.

2. e‑Communication Internship

Who Should Apply?
Graduates in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Media Studies.

  • Build content for the CIPC website and social media channels.
  • Join communication campaigns and help engage stakeholders.
  • Manage media relations and support branding activities.

3. Contract Unit Internship

Who Should Apply?
Those with a diploma or degree in Law, Business Administration, or Contract/Supply‑Chain Management.
What You’ll Do:

  • Draft and review contracts, and keep a clean database of agreements.
  • Check that all contracts follow the latest legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team and handle filing.
