Boshof Solar Power invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the 3‑Year Industrial Electrician Learnership Programme. The closing date for applications is 17 November 2025.

What the Learnership Looks Like

  • Phase 1 – Foundations – Basic theory of electricity and safety.
  • Phase 2 – Applied Skills – Practical exercises, wiring, and system maintenance.

At the end of the three years you must pass a trade test and become a fully certified Industrial Electrician.

  • Education: Grade 12 with Pure Maths & Physical Science, or an N2 certificate that covers four relevant subjects.
  • Health: Pass a medical job‑fit assessment (RFA).
  • Location: Must live in Boshof or Hertzogville, within the Tokologo Local Municipality.
  • Age: 18–30 years old.

These criteria help ensure that the program gives local youth the skills they need for a stable future.
