What the Job Looks Like
Position: Cleaner
Location: Pretoria – South African Police Service (SAPS) Headquarters
Salary: R138 486 per year (Level 02)
Work Centre: Governance and Corporate Services – Supply Chain Management
Key Tasks You’ll Do
- Keep the SAPS buildings and rooms super clean and tidy.
- Dust desks, mop floors, and empty rubbish bags.
- Wash bathrooms, kitchenware, and other shared spaces.
- Load and unload cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain the outside gardens and wash state vehicles.
- Work extra hours when the team needs help.
What You Need to Succeed
- A Grade 10 certificate helps, but it’s not mandatory.
- You can read, write, and do basic maths.
- Comfortable using simple tools and cleaning machines.
- Willing to change your shift if needed.
