Actom Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their High Voltage Equipment Division Bursary Vacancies.

Who Is Actom?

Actom (Pty) Ltd is the biggest maker, fixer, and seller of electro‑mechanical gear in Africa.
They run 33 stores all over sub‑Saharan Africa and work with businesses that need big or small electrical solutions.

What Are These Bursaries?

A bursary is a scholarship that covers part or all of your university fees.
Actom’s High Voltage Equipment Division has a drop‑in bursary program for the 2026 academic year.
It was made for students who want to study:

  • Electrical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science)
  • Industrial Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science)
  • Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science)

If you are one of these and are a South African citizen, you could get money to study.


Who Can Apply?

You must tick every box below; if anything is missing, you will not be considered.

How to Apply – Step‑by‑Step

  1. Download the Form
    Grab the Actom Bursary Application Form 2026 (PDF) from Actom’s website.

  2. Fill It Out
    Complete every section of the form carefully.

  3. Collect Supporting Documents
    All documents must be certified (signed and stamped by an official, like a school principal or university registrar).
    You will need:

    • Certified copy of your ID document
    • Grade 11 final results and Matric June results (if you’re still in high school)
    • Certified copy of your Matric certificate (if you already finished high school)
    • Full academic record, including your latest results (if you’re currently studying)
    • Receipt of fees and a breakdown of the financial requirements from your university
    • Certified proof of your address (a utility bill or bank statement)
    • Proof of your parents’ or guardians’ income (latest payslips if they work; an affidavit if they’re unemployed; proof of a SASSA grant or pension if that applies)
  4. Send Your Application by Email
    Email everything to: hve.hr@actom.co.za.
    Use this subject line: “REF: HVEBUR25” so your file is found quickly.

  5. Check the Deadline
    Send your mail before 28 November 2025.
    Even a day late won’t be accepted.
