Marung T, in partnership with EWSETA, is looking for suitable young people to apply for their fully funded 12‑month learnership in water and wastewater treatment. The closing date for applications is 18 February 2026.


What you’ll actually be doing

Imagine spending a year learning how to keep communities safe and clean. Every day you’ll:

  • Watch water move through purification plants
  • Check quality tests and spot any changes
  • Help run the equipment that treats both drinking water and sewage

You’ll finish with a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification in Water & Wastewater Treatment Process Control Supervision. Plus, you get a R3 000 monthly stipend to cover transport, meals and everyday expenses.
