Placements will be at one of the following ports:
- Durban
- Richards Bay
- Gqeberha
- Saldanha Bay
What you will gain
The internship combines classroom knowledge with day‑to‑day tasks. You will:
- Learn core financial controls, budgeting and procurement in a logistics setting
- Support HR functions such as recruitment, employee records and training coordination
- Work on safety compliance, environmental monitoring and incident reporting (SHERQ)
- Assist with maintenance of cargo‑handling equipment and inspection processes (Mechanical Engineering)
These skills are transferable to many sectors, including transport, mining, manufacturing and infrastructure projects.
