What the opportunity is
The programme is run by Martin & East (Pty) Ltd and offers a paid gap‑year placement in the construction industry. You will work on real projects, earn a salary, and you may qualify for a bursary to study Civil Engineering at a top South African university.
Who can apply
- Current Grade 12 learners in 2026
- South African citizens
- Students who plan to start Civil Engineering studies in 2028
- Must achieve at least 60 % in Mathematics (Pure, Literacy or Technical) and Physical Science
What you will gain
