What is the IVANPLATS Artisan Learnership?
The programme is a structured learnership that blends classroom theory with hands‑on work at the Ivanplats Platreef Mine in Mokopane, Limpopo. Over a period of up to three years, you will be trained to become a qualified artisan in a high‑demand trade.
Who can apply?
You must meet **all** of the following criteria:
- South African citizen or permanent resident
- Grade 12 (Matric) with at least 60 % in Mathematics and Physical Science
- National Certificate (N2) in Engineering
- Preference is given to historically disadvantaged South Africans, women, and residents of the local community around the Platreef Mine
What you will gain
The learnership offers:
