Elangeni TVET College & FASSET: Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme 2025/2026

Elangeni TVET College invites suitably qualified N6 learners to apply for its 18‑month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme. The closing date for applications is 13 October 2025.
What You’ll Study
Elangeni TVET College, together with the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET), offers three focused tracks:
- Financial Management – learn how money is handled in a company, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Human Resources Management – discover how organisations recruit, train and support employees.
- Management Assistant – become a key helper to managers, organising schedules, documents and office tasks.
These tracks bring you into real offices where you will see what the jobs actually look like, not just read about them.
How the WIL Programme Works
- Match with a Company – We connect you with a host organisation that aligns with your chosen track.
- Hands‑On Work – You’ll spend time doing real tasks, from writing reports to managing payroll.
- Learning Support – Throughout the 18 months, you’ll attend short classroom sessions that tie your daily work to learning goals.
- Assessment – At the end, you’ll be evaluated on how well you performed on the job and the knowledge you built.
Because the programme is hands‑on, you’ll finish with a résumé that shows you have real experience—something employers love.
What You’ll Get Out of It
Why It Matters | What It Gives You |
---|---|
Real‑World Experience | You’ll practise skills that employers need right away. |
Better Chances of Getting Hired | Your résumé will stand out, and you’ll have proof of work you can talk about in an interview. |
Monthly Stipend | Most placements offer a stipend that can be paid by Seta or the host company, helping pay for living costs. |
Professional Network | You’ll meet managers and staff who might help you find a full‑time job after you finish. |
