Guardrisk’s 2026/2027 Graduate Internship Programme – Launch Your Security Career Today!

Guardrisk Insurance Company Ltd Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Graduate Internship Programme vacancies. The closing date for applications is 10 October 2025.

What You’ll Get From the Graduate Internship Programme

Think of this internship as a boot‑camp that takes you from campus to the real world of insurance and finance. For a full year, you’ll rotate through different teams – underwriting, claims, finance and risk – and see exactly how a big insurance firm keeps its customers happy and its business running smoothly.

  • Hands‑on work – Not just paperwork. You’ll help process claims, analyse risk, and help customers get the support they need.
  • Learn from pros – Senior team members will mentor you every step of the way.
  • Real results – Projects you finish can actually change how the business works, so you’ll finish with a portfolio of tangible achievements.

If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with people and want a clear path into insurance, this internship could be the launchpad you’ve been looking for.

Why This Job Is Worth Your Time

The internship pays R9,250 a month, so you not only learn a lot, you also earn while you work. While the programme doesn’t automatically lead to a permanent role, it offers:

  • Insight into best industry practices, so you’ll know what top companies expect from their staff.
  • Exposure to the full customer journey – from application to claim handling.
  • A chance to build the skills set that employers love: communication, analytical thinking and teamwork.

  1. South African citizenship.
  2. A completed university degree or other tertiary qualification.
  3. Currently not employed.

If you tick all the boxes, you’re ready to jump in.
