Day‑to‑day
- Erectors: install and repair high‑tension cables and support structures; work at heights; use hand tools, compressors, and cranes.
- Flagman: stand on tracks, use signals to control trains, perform maintenance on signalling gear.
- General Workers: load/unload materials, sweep sites, operate basic hand tools, and help keep safety protocols in check.
All roles are outdoor, so you’ll be working under the South African sun most of the time. You’ll also have to pass a medical exam and prove you can handle some physical labour.
