What the opportunity is
The municipality is hiring General Workers for its Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). The work will be in the areas of Carolina, Empuluzi, Elukwatini, Emanzana and Ekulindeni in Mpumalanga. Jobs are temporary, last 12 months, and run from August 2026 to July 2027.
Who can apply
- Target groups: unemployed youth, women, and people living with disabilities.
- General Worker: minimum Grade 9.
- Administration & Engineering: Grade 12 or N6 qualification.
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Proof of residence or a letter from your ward councillor.
