What Is the Mining Learnership Programme?
Eastplats Mine is looking for young South Africans who want to learn how to mine. The programme gives you hands‑on training and a chance to work underground. If you finish the programme, you will have real skills that employers in the mining industry love.
Key features of the learnership

| Structured training | Step‑by‑step lessons that teach you mining basics and safety. |
| Work experience | You will actually work in a mine, learning what it takes to keep people safe. |
| Career path | After the learnership you can apply for full‑time mining jobs with big companies. |
| Safety focus | The programme teaches you how to stay safe on the job all the time. |
| Teamwork | You will work with others and learn how to cooperate well. |
