What is this learnership?
The programme is a partnership between Ikusasa Technology Solutions and MICT SETA, South Africa’s sector authority for information and communications technology. Over one year, you will attend classroom lessons and gain hands‑on work experience at Esayidi TVET College – Umzimkhulu Campus in KwaZulu‑Natal. At the end, you earn a National Certificate: Information Technology – Technical Support (NQF Level 4) that carries 163 credits and is registered under SAQA ID 78964.
Who can apply?
- South African citizen
- Age 18 to 35
- Matric certificate required
- At least 50 % in Mathematics and English
- No previous participation in a MICT SETA funded programme
- Basic IT knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
