Ivanplats Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Graduate Internship Programmes vacancies. The closing date for applications is 3 November 2025.

Ivanplats (Pty) Ltd, part of Ivanhoe Mines, is helping students and fresh graduates get real work experience in mining. The company runs a Graduate Internship Program that covers five different job areas. The work takes place at the Platreef Project in Mokopane, Limpopo – a big new mine where Ivanplats is building a modern, sustainable operation.

What Internships Are Open?

1. Finance & Management

• What you need
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar field.
  • Knowing how to use basic financial software.
• What you’ll do
  • Keep financial records straight and check numbers.
  • Help create budgets and reports that managers use to plan.
  • Make sure all work follows company policy.

2. Geology & Geotechnical Engineering

  • National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mine Ventilation, Occupational Hygiene or a related topic.

  • Monitor air quality and check ventilation systems underground.
  • Run airflow surveys and write up reports.
  • Keep the mine safe and healthy for workers.

  • Know how ventilation works in mines.

4. Human Resources & Development

• What you’ll do
