Accelerate Your Career with KwaZulu-Natal EDTEA’s Communications & Marketing Internship Programme 2025‑2027

KwaZulu‑Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Internship Programme Vacancies. The closing date for applications is 24 October 2025.

What the Internship Looks Like

The Department’s Internship Programme is a two‑year paid training plan for fresh graduates. It gives you real‑world work time, a steady monthly allowance, and helps you build skills that are in high demand in South Africa’s growing economy. You’ll be placed in a professional office and will receive close support while you learn.
During your time there you’ll take part in everyday projects, learn industry software, and see how a government department runs and makes decisions. At the end you’ll have a stack of experience that can be shown to future employers.

The programme is part of the South African government’s big plans to grow the economy and improve skills across the country. It lines up with the National Skills Development Strategy, the New Growth Path, and the country’s Vision 2030 plans.

Who Can Join?

Only graduates are accepted. You need:
