What the internship is all about
The Lesaka Technologies Internship Programme gives you hands‑on experience in a company listed on both the JSE and NASDAQ. Lesaka works to bring banking, loans, insurance and other financial services to people and businesses in informal and township areas across Southern Africa. By the end of the year, the company processes more than R72 billion in transactions for over 1.7 million consumers and 90 000 merchants.
Who should apply?
- South African citizens aged 18–29
- Recent graduates holding at least a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
- Currently unemployed and not studying full‑time during the internship
- Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, adaptable mindset
