What You’ll Do

1. Ward‑Based Educators (Field Workers) – 29 posts

These workers are the frontline of the program. You’ll visit homes, talk to residents, and:

  • Explain HIV, TB, STIs and good health practices
  • Help with testing and treatment programs
  • Find children who need extra care
  • Record data every day, week, and month
  • Meet with local groups and leaders

Important: You must live in the ward you will serve and write your ward number on the application.

2. Ward‑Based Educators (Supervisors) – 5 posts

If you like leading a team, this role is for you. You’ll earn R4,300 a month and help:

  • Guide field workers and keep them on track
  • Plan and check out activities in the ward
  • Make sure reports are accurate
  • Talk with city coordinators and other staff

A Grade 12 diploma is required; anything beyond that is a bonus.

3. Ward‑Based Data Capturer – 1 post

If numbers and computers are your thing, this job pays R4,500 a month. You’ll:

  • Collect, check and report data for the program
  • Write clear reports for supervisors and planners
  • Help with monitoring and evaluation
  • Work closely with field teams

You need a Grade 12 diploma and good computer skills (MS Office).
