The Trades You Can Choose

Carpentry Apprenticeship (20 spots)

Carpenters are needed in many places: building homes, offices, furniture, and fixing things.
During the programme you’ll learn:

  • How to build roofs and frames
  • Installing doors and windows

  • Keeping a safe work environment

Bricklaying Apprenticeship (30 spots)

Who Can Apply?

You must satisfy all of these conditions:

  1. Be a South African citizen.
  2. Be unemployed at the time of application.
  3. Hold a NQF Level 4 or NCV Level 4 certificate in Carpentry or Bricklaying.
  4. Have passed every subject in that qualification.
  5. Not have already taken part in a learnership, skills programme, or apprenticeship.

The college will give preference to its own students.
