Market Theatre Foundation invites qualified applicants to apply for its 10 Internship Vacancies for 2026.
The closing date for applications is 11 November 2025.
The Market Theatre Foundation (MTF) teamed up with the YES4Youth Programme to offer 10 internships for unemployed South African youth. These internships give you real‑world experience and help you learn useful skills in a creative and lively setting.
What You’ll Get
- A fixed‑term contract for 12 months – from January 2026 to December 2026.
- A monthly stipend of R5,000.
- No previous experience needed – a good fit for recent graduates looking to start their careers.
Important Rules
- You must not be studying full‑time in 2026.
- You must not have taken part in the YES4Youth Programme before.
- Background checks will be done for every successful applicant.
- Any relocation costs will be paid by you.

Who Can Apply
- South African citizens aged 18 to 34.
- You must be unemployed and can prove this with an affidavit.
- You need a Matric certificate plus at least a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or a Degree from a recognised institution.
- Register on the YES Youth platform at https://www.yes4youth.co.za.
- Submit a clear CV, a certified ID copy, and proof of your qualifications.
- If you’re interested in or already know something about creative arts, that’s a plus.
