If you love building, construction, engineering, or any work that helps create the places we live in, this bursary is a great way to get money to pay for your studies. The Master Builders KwaZulu‑Natal (MBKZN) Bursary Programme 2026 is now open, and students all over KwaZulu‑Natal can apply before the deadline.
What the Bursary Covers
- Apprenticeships
- National Certificate courses
- Diplomas
- Bachelor’s Degrees
- Any other building‑related course that the Bursary Committee says is okay
The scholarship gives you one full academic year of funding. If you do well, it can be renewed for another year.
Who Can Apply?
- You must be a South African citizen.
- We give priority to people who live in KwaZulu‑Natal.
- Your course must be about the building and construction industry.
- You need to show your latest school results and have the documents certified.
- You must be registered at a recognised university or college, or be applying to one.
- The programme must help you learn skills that a construction job needs.
If you don’t hear back by February 2026, your application is probably not successful.
What You Need to Send
- A filled‑out application form.
- A certified copy of your ID.
- Certified copies of your most recent results.
- Proof you live in KwaZulu‑Natal (a utility bill, lease, or similar).
- Proof you’re accepted or applying to a university or college.
- A short motivational letter (recommended).
- Any extra documents the Bursary Committee asks for.
Send a complete application and all the required papers; incomplete ones will be turned away.
