Mpumalanga Provincial Government invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the Premier’s Discretionary Bursary Fund. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2025.

Who Can Apply?

• Students who are still in Grade 12.
• Students who have finished Grade 12 but have not yet started a university or college program.
• Students already studying at a recognised university or college in South Africa.

This broad eligibility means the bursary helps both fresh leavers and existing learners who need financial help.

What You’ll Need to Submit

1. A cover letter that explains why you want this bursary.
2. Your resume (CV).
3. Certified copies of your grades and any certificates you have earned.
4. A certified copy of your South African ID.
5. Proof of your enrolment if you are already at a tertiary institution.
6. Proof of where you live.
7. If you are applying on behalf of someone else, a certified copy of their death certificate.
8. Proof of how much your parents or guardians earn, if applicable.
