  3. Gather certified copies of your qualifications, Grade‑12 certificate, and South African ID.
  4. Download the official application form from the MRTJ website or request it via email.
  5. Complete and sign the form. Do not leave any field blank.
  6. Compose an email to recruitment@rttrust.co.za. Use the subject line: Reference + Location (e.g., “FA2026 Emalahleni”).
  7. Attach the CV, certified documents, ID copy and the signed application form.
  8. Send the email before 23:59 on 4 September 2026.

Tips to improve your chances

  • Match the NQF level exactly. A diploma at Level 6 will not satisfy a Level 7 requirement.
  • Tailor your CV to the specific role. Use the same keywords as the “Key duties” listed above.
  • If you have a Facilitator/Assessor certificate for the hospitality positions, display it prominently.
  • Proof‑read every attachment. Illegible scans will be rejected.
  • Do not claim work experience you do not have; academic projects count if clearly labelled.
  • Submit early to avoid email attachment limits or postal delays.
  • Only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you hear nothing within 10 days after the deadline, consider the application unsuccessful and keep looking.

Final thoughts

This internship can give you real‑world exposure in a field that matches your studies. The two‑year period allows you to develop solid skills that employers value. Follow the application instructions exactly, check every document, and send your file before the deadline. Good luck!
