About the Internship Programme
The CHIETA‑Funded Internship Programme 2026 is a full‑time, 24‑month placement that matches the requirements of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). You’ll learn on the job, receive a stipend of R4 900 per month, and build a CV that stands out to employers.

Business Management – 3 posts
- Qualification: National Diploma in Business Management
- What you’ll learn: Administration, operations, planning and real‑world management support.
Management Assistant – 4 posts
- Qualification: National Diploma in Management Assistant
- What you’ll learn: Office administration, communication, coordination and record‑keeping.
Public Management – 4 posts
- Qualification: National Diploma in Public Management
- What you’ll learn: Public sector operations, governance, compliance and service delivery.
Human Resource Management – 3 posts
- Qualification: National Diploma in Human Resource Management
- What you’ll learn: HR administration, recruitment, employee records and labour compliance.
What the Internship Involves
Each intern will be given tasks by their supervisor that match:
- the learning objectives of their diploma program,
- DHET workplace standards, and
- the college’s operational needs.
These tasks help you develop skills and finish your qualification while working.
Documents You Need to Submit
- Latest CV
- Clear copy of your ID
- Copy of National Diploma certificate
- Copy of Matric / NCV Level 4 certificate
All documents must be merged into one PDF file. If your file contains images or is incomplete, you’ll be automatically disqualified.
