SASSA invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Grants Administrator vacancies. The closing date for applications is 17 October 2025.
Grants Administrator (Level 05) – Two Openings
Salary – R228,321 – R268,950 per year (no benefits mentioned)
Locations
- Namakwa District – Port Nolloth Local Office (Reference SAS 25/09/06)
- ZF Mgcawu District – Kakamas Local Office (Reference SAS 25/09/07)
What You Need
- High school diploma (Senior Certificate, NQF Level 4) and a National Diploma, Degree, or honours degree (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Comfortable using a computer – basic software skills matter.
Plus Points
- Valid driver’s licence, or previous experience in admin or clerical work.
Main Duties
- Help run the local grant office – keep everything organized.
- Read and check every grant application, enter data into the system.
- Offer friendly support to people applying for grants.
- Manage application processes that happen outside the office.
- Handle other paperwork related to grants.
- Make sure all applications meet the rules set out in the Public Finance Management Act (Section 57, Chapter 6, Part 3).
