What you’ll do

The Infra Worker supports the Railway Construction and Maintenance teams.

  • Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Team Leader to keep projects on track.
  • Be on time and stay fully sober while on the job.
  • Move, load, and unload materials to help keep the site running smoothly.
  • Keep the work area clean: weed, stack supplies, sweep, dispose of waste, and tidy up after each day.
  • Use hand tools safely and keep them in good condition.
  • Help maintain a safe, noise‑free environment for everyone on site.

Who we’re looking for

To qualify, you must:

  1. Education or experience: Have at least Grade 9 or 6 months of real‑world work experience.
  2. Fit and healthy: Pass a medical check and be physically fit.
  3. Safety aware: Always stay alert and follow safety rules.
  4. Communicate clearly in English.
  5. Adaptable to weather: Work both rain and sun.
  6. Flexible hours: Be ready to work overtime on short notice.
  7. Mobile: Willing to travel or work outside designated depot areas.
  8. Safety‑first mindset: Focus on health and safety at all times.
  9. Work in tight or high spaces: Comfortable with confined areas and heights.
