What you’ll do
The Infra Worker supports the Railway Construction and Maintenance teams.
- Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Team Leader to keep projects on track.
- Be on time and stay fully sober while on the job.
- Move, load, and unload materials to help keep the site running smoothly.
- Keep the work area clean: weed, stack supplies, sweep, dispose of waste, and tidy up after each day.
- Use hand tools safely and keep them in good condition.
- Help maintain a safe, noise‑free environment for everyone on site.
Who we’re looking for
To qualify, you must:
- Education or experience: Have at least Grade 9 or 6 months of real‑world work experience.
- Fit and healthy: Pass a medical check and be physically fit.
- Safety aware: Always stay alert and follow safety rules.
- Communicate clearly in English.
- Adaptable to weather: Work both rain and sun.
- Flexible hours: Be ready to work overtime on short notice.
- Mobile: Willing to travel or work outside designated depot areas.
- Safety‑first mindset: Focus on health and safety at all times.
- Work in tight or high spaces: Comfortable with confined areas and heights.
