Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you need to:

What You’ll Do

Once you’re accepted, you’ll get real work experience in each of these areas:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel engines and other mechanical parts.
  • Use diagnostic tools to find problems in engines and electrical systems.
  • Install, fix, and keep electrical wiring and equipment running.
  • Fit, mount, and restore machines, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and valves.
  • Build and assemble metal parts used in factories and mines.

You’ll finish the learnership with a national qualification that makes you ready for jobs in mining, engineering, and many other industries.

  3. Attach a copy of your CV and explain why you’re interested.
