Tips to improve your chances

  • Apply to the vacancy that exactly matches your N4–N6 field – don’t pick a different stream just for a preferred location.
  • Clearly list your qualification on the CV, e.g. N6 Human Resources Management – [TVET College Name], and include the N4‑N5 results.
  • Use high‑resolution scans for all certificates and letters; blurry files are often rejected.
  • Enter your current phone number and email correctly – missed contact can cost you the offer.
  • Start the application at least a week before the deadline; late submissions are not accepted.
  • Show the competencies Transnet values: good written and verbal communication, basic computer skills, teamwork, problem‑solving, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Next steps

Take a moment now to collect your documents, choose the correct vacancy reference, and submit your application before the closing dates – 20 August for Office Management and Human Resources, and 24 August for the broader multi‑field role. An 18‑month WIL placement can give you the practical experience you need to move from theory to a professional career.
