Department of Employment and Labour Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Learnership Vacancies.
The closing date for applications is 31 October 2025.
What is a Learnership?
A learnership is a paid training program that gives you hands‑on work experience and a certificate.
You learn real skills while you get a monthly stipend, so you can pay your bills and not worry about money during the course.
The Department of Employment and Labour, together with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and We Invest Africa, has opened learnerships in four important South African industries:
- Building and Civil Construction
- Farming
- Animal Production
- Plant Production
These sectors are growing and need fresh talent. By joining a learnership, you could be on the path to a career that pays.
