Mogale City Local Municipality invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Plant Production Learnership Vacancies. The closing date for applications is 11 November 2025.
What Is a Plant Production Learnership?
A learnership is a paid training program that lets you gain real work experience while studying a specific skill set. In this case, the focus is on plant production – growing crops, caring for gardens, and learning about agriculture, tourism, environmental studies and horticulture. You’ll spend one year on the job and in the classroom, and at the end you’ll receive a certificate that shows you can work in the industry.
Why Is This Opportunity Great for You?
- Earn a monthly stipend of R2,000 – the Training Services Provider pays this to help cover your living costs while you learn.
- No prior experience needed – it’s aimed at people who are unemployed but want to build a career in green jobs.
- Only 25 places are open, so the competition is tight but the reward is big.
- It’s only for people living in Mogale City – if you’re already in the community, you can stay close to home and still get a chance to grow professionally.
