What you need
- Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- No previous work experience required – the Department will train you.
- If you’ve done any asset management, codification or procurement training, that’s a bonus.
Skills we want
- Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good written and spoken English.
- Able to think critically, solve problems and be creative.
- Friendly and works well with others.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Reliable and able to keep information confidential.
Your duties
- Handle paperwork and paperwork for supplies and equipment.
- Decide what the unit needs and make sure the right items are ordered and stored safely.
- Receive, distribute and repack stock, keeping everything in good condition.
- Issue vouchers and print receipts.
- Answer everyday questions and record demand for stock in the CALMIS MMS system.
