What is the job?
The South African Department of Defence (DoD) is looking for clean‑up heroes to work on military bases all over the country. These are Level 2 government jobs that pay between R138 486 and R163 131 a year. If you have an ABET qualification and no previous job experience, you can still apply – it’s a perfect starter role.

Do you meet the basics?

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices and rooms
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, and meeting areas
- Wash windows, cutlery, and floors
- Empty bins and keep buildings tidy
- Take care of cleaning equipment
- Point out any problems or damage to supervisors
