1. Graduate Internship Programme (24 months)

This internship is for unemployed graduates who have finished a 3‑ or 4‑year degree from a recognised university.

Eligibility

  • You are not working at the moment.
  • You live in KwaZulu‑Natal – you’ll need proof of this.
  • You have never done a government internship before.
  • Your degree is complete and recognised.
  • You are in the typical age range for new graduates (so, about 18‑30 years old).

2. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme (12‑18 months)

WIL is for students still enrolled in a university or college who need workplace experience to finish their studies.

  • You are registered at a recognised institution.
  • Your school provides a formal WIL request letter.
  • You are not currently employed.
  • You haven’t done a government WIL before.
