Executive Manager: Corporate Services – SASSETA
SASSETA is looking for a strong, experienced leader to take charge of its Corporate Services division. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a key part in shaping how the organisation runs, supports its people, and delivers on its goals. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and the Board to make sure systems, people, and processes work smoothly and responsibly.

What the Role Is About
As Executive Manager: Corporate Services, you will help guide the direction of the organisation and make sure key support functions are well managed. Your work will have a direct impact on how SASSETA performs and how it supports the skills development sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping to develop SASSETA’s Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan
- Leading the Human Resources strategy, including training and staff development
- Managing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services and long-term ICT planning
- Overseeing communication and marketing strategies to support the organisation’s goals
- Managing support services such as records, registry, and other auxiliary services
- Advising the CEO and the Board on matters related to Corporate Services
- Planning, compiling, and controlling the full budget for the Corporate Services division
- Building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders
- Managing performance across the division and making sure targets are met
- Ensuring staff within the division are properly managed, supported, and developed
- Developing, applying, and monitoring policies that fall under the division
- Handling internal and external audit matters linked to Corporate Services
- Identifying risks within the division and keeping risk registers up to date
This role requires someone who can balance people management, compliance, planning, and financial responsibility while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- A recognised NQF Level 8 qualification in Social Sciences
- At least 5 years of relevant management experience
- Strong knowledge and skills in one or more areas linked to Corporate Services
- 3 years’ experience at senior management level (preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in the public sector (preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience within a SETA environment will be an added advantage
