  • Technical Services – Drainage Maintenance (10 places)
  • Disability‑reserved positions (10 places)

The contracts run for 12 months, from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R1 400 for every 10 days worked.

  • Double‑check that your contact number is correct and your phone is switched on.
  • If you hand‑deliver your application, dress modestly and present yourself respectfully.
  • Keep a copy of everything you send, in case the municipality asks for clarification.

Next steps

This EPWP intake is a realistic way to start earning and building a work record while you look for longer‑term learnerships, internships or bursaries. Gather your documents, follow the steps above, and submit before the deadline. Even if you do not get this placement, the experience of applying will help you in future applications.

Good luck, and remember that every step you take brings you closer to stable employment.
