What the job is

Who can apply

You must have one of the following qualifications:

  • Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7) or Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7 or 8) in Law, Media Studies, Journalism, Humanities, Commerce or a related field.

In addition, you need at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience in administration, communications, compliance, law, ICT, media, broadcasting or regulatory work is useful. Prior election‑monitoring work is helpful but not required.

You also need:

  • Good computer skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong administrative ability.
  • Proficiency in at least two official South African languages.
