NSFAS
NSFAS funding is separate from the TUT application. Create a myNSFAS profile, upload the requested documents and track your application there. As of 2 September 2026, the official NSFAS website has not yet published the exact opening and closing dates for the 2027 cycle, so keep checking regularly.
Other bursaries
TUT’s Directorate of Financial Aid manages internal bursaries such as Academic Merit, Sport, Leadership and Special Talent awards.
