How to apply – step by step

  2. Update your CV. Keep it short (one page), list your education, any licences, and any work experience.
  3. Write a brief cover letter. State the position (ADT Operator Learnership) and why you are interested.
  4. Save your CV and cover letter as PDF files. Make sure the files open correctly.
  5. Compose an email to mpcv@andru.co.za. Use a clear subject line, e.g., “Application – ADT Operator Learnership”.
  6. Attach the PDF CV and cover letter. Do not include any other unrelated certificates.

  • Proofread your CV and cover letter for spelling or formatting errors.
  • Use a professional email address that includes your name.
  • Keep the file size under 2 MB so it can be opened easily.
  • Do not send duplicate emails – one well‑crafted application is enough.
  • Prepare for the Dover and polygraph tests by practicing concentration exercises and reviewing basic mechanical concepts.
  • Remember: the employer will never ask you to pay any fee. If you are asked for money, treat it as a warning sign.
