The four‑month programme blends classroom teaching with on‑the‑job training. You will gain:
- Practical experience operating an Articulated Dump Truck that moves rock, ore, coal, overburden, gravel and other mining materials.
- Knowledge of mine safety rules and how to follow them every day.
- Understanding of how ADT operators coordinate with excavator operators, dozer drivers, site supervisors and safety officers.
- Basic mechanical insight that helps you troubleshoot equipment.
- Team‑working skills in a fast‑paced production environment.
- A recognised entry‑level qualification that can strengthen future job applications in mining.
