Bidvest SACD Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their National Certificate Clearing & Forwarding Agent Learnership Vacancies. The closing date for applications is the 20 October 2025.
If you’re a South African teen who is curious about how goods move around the world, this learnership could be your first step into the logistics and freight‑forwarding world. Bidvest SACD is giving unemployed youth a chance to learn real‑world skills, earn a nationally recognised qualification, and build a career that can lead to higher pay and exciting job prospects.
What the Learnership Looks Like
- 12‑month program on a fixed‑term contract.
- You’ll work on the ground in the same offices that handle international shipments.
- Training combines hands‑on work with classroom lessons so you understand both the theory and practical side of clearing and forwarding.
- After you finish, you’ll receive a National Certificate (NQF Level 5), a qualification that employers across South Africa can recognise.
How It Helps You
- Get paid while you learn – you can earn a decent salary and support yourself during the year.
- Learn from professionals who know the industry inside out; they’ll coach you and give you honest feedback.
- Work in a supportive, growth‑focused team that’s happy to see you succeed.
- The skills you learn can open doors not just in logistics, but in supply chain management, customs brokerage, and more.
Where the Program Is Offered
- Durban – a major port city, great for learning about sea freight.
- Johannesburg – the market hub of South Africa; you’ll see how goods flow across the country.
