Join Chrysalis Academy as a Peace Officer & Traffic Warden – Kickstart Your 2026 Training Journey

The Chrysalis Academy Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the Peace Officer & Traffic Warden Training Vacancies. The closing date for applications is 30 October 2025.

The Chrysalis Academy is looking for young South Africans who want to help protect their communities. They are offering a 22‑day training course that starts in mid‑February 2026 and ends in mid‑March 2026 (exact dates still to be confirmed). During that time, the participants will learn everything they need to know to become a Peace Officer or a Traffic Warden. The course is packed with classroom lessons, practical drills, and real‑world scenarios, so you’ll graduate ready to help keep people safe on the streets and on the roads.

Before the training starts, you will have to take a psychometric test on 14 January 2026. This test checks your learning style, your reaction to stress, and other mental skills that are important for law‑enforcement work. The Academy wants to make sure you’re as mentally prepared as you are physically and academically.

South Africa’s safety and security depend on dedicated Peace Officers and Traffic Wardens. They help keep lanes clear, catch traffic offenders, and support the police when needed. By completing this course, you will:

  • Gain a recognized certification that shows you’re ready for a law‑enforcement job.
  • Learn the laws and by‑laws that keep communities safe.
  • Develop the discipline, resilience, and leadership that are essential for any public‑service job.
