What you need

  • Grade 12 certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • No previous work experience required – the Department will train you.
  • If you’ve done any asset management, codification or procurement training, that’s a bonus.

Your duties

  • Handle paperwork and paperwork for supplies and equipment.
  • Decide what the unit needs and make sure the right items are ordered and stored safely.
  • Receive, distribute and repack stock, keeping everything in good condition.
  • Issue vouchers and print receipts.
  • Answer everyday questions and record demand for stock in the CALMIS MMS system.
