What the internship offers
This is a 24‑month fixed‑term graduate internship with placements in Bloemfontein and various district offices. Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R8,174.75. The programme is designed for South African graduates who have never taken part in a Public Service Internship Programme.

- Must have Grade 12 and a relevant NQF Level 6 or Level 7 qualification (depending on the field).
- Must not have previously completed a Public Service Internship Programme.

- Complete the form in full, using the correct reference number for the position you want (HS 01/2026 – HS 24/2026).

- Choose one of the three submission methods:
- Email: send your application to recruit@dhs.gov.za.
- Post: HRM Directorate, Human Settlements, P.O. Box 247, Bloemfontein 9300.
- Hand delivery: OR Tambo House, St Andrews Street, Bloemfontein – place your documents in the marked box on the ground floor.
- Make sure the Z83 form is signed, all details are correct, and the reference number is clearly shown.
- Submit before 31 July 2026 at 16:00. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
