Elundini Local Municipality is hiring 57 security staff for its Community Services Department through the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). Who can apply – eligibility
- Security Guard: Grade 9, Grade D security certificate, valid PSIRA registration, medical fitness certificate, 12 months relevant security experience, no criminal record.
- Team Leader – Security Services: Grade 12, Grade A or B security training, valid PSIRA registration, firearm competency or licence, Code B driver’s licence, computer literacy, at least 2 years security experience (supervisory experience preferred), no criminal record.
- Superintendent – Security Services: Grade 12, National Diploma in Safety and Security Management (or equivalent), Grade A or B security training, valid PSIRA registration, firearm competency or licence, Code B driver’s licence, computer literacy, 2 years supervisory experience, no criminal record.
- All applicants must provide proof of residence in Elundini Municipality and a sworn affidavit stating they were born and bred in the municipality.
