What You’ll Do as a UIF Client Service Officer
- Screen job‑seekers and give them advice on how to apply for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits.
- Process and review claims, and register continuation forms so people get their payments on time.
- Handle phone calls, answer emails, and keep accurate records of every case.

What You Need to Qualify
- Matric (Grade 12 or Senior Certificate)
- 0‑6 months of experience (we’re looking for fresh talent!)
- A basic understanding of the Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations, the UIF Contributions Act, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), POPIA, Treasury Regulations, Batho Pele Principles, and the Department’s own policies and procedures.
- Good listening, talking, and writing skills.
- Computer literacy and the ability to juggle multiple phone calls and tasks at once.
