
Flavius Mareka TVET College Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Plant Production Learnership Vacancies. The closing date for applications is the 7 November 2025.
What is the Plant Production Learnership?
This training program is a partnership between Flavius Mareka TVET College and AgriSETA. It is aimed at young people who love working with plants and want to start a career in agriculture. Over 8 to 12 months, you’ll learn both theory and real‑world skills that help grow food, support farms, and protect our planet.
Why should you join?
Get hands‑on experience in planting, harvesting, and farm management.
Earn a nationally recognised certification at the end of the course.

Who can apply?
To be considered, you must:
- Be currently unemployed.
- Be a South African citizen aged 18‑35.
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate (Matric).
- If you already know something about farming, that helps but is not required.
What documents do you need?
A clear CV.
Certified copies of ID and any qualifications, not older than three months.
Proof of where you live (utility bill, lease, etc.).
ID copy of a next‑of‑kin (parent or guardian).
