Who Qualifies?
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must live inside the Ga‑Segonyana Local Municipality.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Be a matric graduate who meets the minimum university entry score, or be a first, second, or final‑year university student.
- Must not already receive a bursary, scholarship, or student loan.
- Must be from a historically disadvantaged group and financially in need.

- For science subjects: at least 60‑69% in Maths and Physical Science (Level 5).
- For other subjects: a minimum of 60% average in Grade 12.
- Students who fail to get promoted to the next level will not be considered.

- Preference goes to those who have faced past disadvantages.
- Applicants must satisfy a means‑test showing financial need.
- University Rules
Only public universities and public universities of technology are acceptable – private schools are not.
