The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has opened applications for 204 Traffic Learner Officer Learnerships for 2026. The deadline is close, so act now.
What the learnership offers
This is a 12‑month structured programme that mixes classroom study with hands‑on training at the Traffic College. It prepares you for a career in traffic law enforcement and community safety.
Who can apply
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- No visible tattoos
- Medically, mentally and physically fit
- Not declared unfit to possess a firearm under the Firearms Control Act
What you will gain

- Download the new Z83 Application Form (reference LDTCS L1/5/2026).
- Complete the form in full. Make sure the reference number is correct and your details match your CV.
- Attach a current, detailed CV.
- Prepare certified copies of:
- Your ID
- Driver’s licence
- Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent)
- Medical certificate stating you are fit for physical training
- Submit the completed Z83 form and supporting documents either:
