What is MA Automotive Tool & Die?

What will you do in the internship?
- 12 months of real work – you’ll sit with engineers, watch and help build the parts that make cars run.
- Learn the tools of the trade – from CAD design to precision die-making and quality checks.
- See how a global company runs – you’ll learn how South African factories can compete for orders around the world.
- Build a network – you’ll meet professionals who can help you later in your career.
What are the skills you need?
- A strong drive – you must be eager to learn and to work on your own.
- Good at problem‑solving – small mistakes can cost time and money, so paying attention to detail matters.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office – you’ll write reports and keep logs.
- Able to pick up new things quickly – the automotive industry moves fast.
What are the qualification requirements?
- A finished NQF Level 6 or 7 Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics (or a related engineering field).
- A solid academic record and a real interest in how cars are made and how factories keep them running.
